We are looking for parents to join P.A.C.T our parents group to help with fundraising and events at the school. There was a very disappointing turn out at the last meeting and we ask parents who have any time they can give to get involved and support the school.
There is a coffee meeting on MONDAY 13th MAY at 2.15pm We hope some of you may be able to give a little time to help share ideas. Today Miss Bond bought her pet hamster to school as we have all worked very hard this week! She slept most if the day in her bed but after lunch she woke up and Miss Bond put her in her favourite red ball. Harriet rolled all around our circle to meet all of us. It was very special and we hope she can visit again soon!
Today Lana wrote 3 pages of a story. She had lovely handwriting and used describing words to make her story more interesting. She even used speech marks in the correct places!! Well Done Lana :-)
We read a story about an boy and alien who crashed in the moon. They became friends and helped each other get back home! By Ethan
On Thursday we will be having an 'art day' as part of the Basildon Challenge. The children will be learning about the art of Andy Goldsworthy. He created 3D art from natural materials. We would greatly appreciate parents support in collecting bags of natural materials such as twigs, stones, leaves, berries etc as all 60 children will be creating their own 3D art and we will need lots of materials for them all. Any donations before Thursday would really be appreciated! Thanks Miss B
